Job description: 1.Works locally to drive the HSES culture and performance 2. Develops and implements industry best practice systems for an effective HSES program while maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, reporting, HSES statistics and trend analysis 3. Evaluates the HSES Impacts of capital projects and assures safety and health risk assessments are completed 4. Meet the business objectives in term of HSES budget and schedule 5. Manages local site security requirements and improvements. 6. Leads root cause analyses as appropriate to ensure thorough understanding and corrective and preventative actions 7. Leads the HSE Lead / officer/ specialist to implement HSES programs at the site and drive continuous improvement. 8. Involves & engages employees in developing HSES programs, processes, and performance measures for the site 9. Actively promote Safety and Quality within his team and in site 10. Provides on-the-floor HSES coaching and recognition Educational requirements Minimum of Bachelor's degree in a Engineering, Science, or Technical based field/Master’s in Engineering HSE professional qualifications Experience 10 years experience in a HSES function in an industrial environment Experience in international matrix organization Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job 1. Must have a strong knowledge HSES regulations, codes, standards applicable and understands workplace hazards 2.Must have a deep understanding of process risk and road safety management fundamentals 3. Good knowledge of Human and organizational safety factors 4. Masters HSES practices and methods like Job Hazard Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, etc Influential leadership 5.Takes or initiates action to address an issue or prevent a problem in a timely manner 6.Remains calm and efficient in conflict or crisis situations, resolves problems efficiently without 7.causing anxiety to others, reacts positively to major changes 8.Ability to engage people through communication and by leading by example
